The palazzo
As most medieval buildings it features two sets of large wooden doors that from street level lead down into the cellars. These spaces were at one time probably connected can be again. In the space below the front door a separate room was build for the old heating system. It also still harbours parts of the ancient wood oven. Much more exciting is without a doubt the staircase leading to what once was a secret passageway! It seems to have given access to a tunnel under the city which connected the building to the palazzo on the main square!
